The list of Lillis’s credentials reads like this, World Freestyle Champion, European Champion, Swedish Champion and the list goes on and on spanning over 30 years of dedication to skateboarding, that shows no sign of slowing down. Lillis saw a skateboard for the first time in 1977 and knew from that moment that he wanted to be a skateboarder, but it took him a year to persuade his parents to buy him one. Why skateboarding attracted him he has no idea, he just knew that it was something he had to do, something that was already a part of his life. These days he talks about the freedom, the creativity, the expression of one’s self through skateboarding, integration of body and mind and pure and crazy fun. But back then in the late 1970s it was simply his destiny, and still is. He was nominated for Freestyler Skateboarder of the year in 2010 and was Inducted in the Freestyle Hall Of Fame in 2008. He also holds the Guinness World Record for the longest One Wheelie (manual) on flat: 68 meters, 54 centimetres as well as the Most Dog-Walk’s in 1 minute. He graduated in Graphic Production and is a very creative web designer. Lillis goes to great lengths to come up with the perfect balance between form, function and simplicity.

There is another side to Lillis, he has an intense interest in acting and is part of a local theatre group, Skokloster Teatersällskap, where he trained under the guidance of Swedish actor and director Willy Tappert. Lillis had the lead roles as Lars Hård in the play “Lars Hård” and as Mascarille in “The Pretentious Young Ladies”. His debut in front of the cameras was for the pilot of “1251 – Folkungarnas tid,” where he portraying the 13th century Swedish king Knut den Långe. In the summer of 2011 Lillis stared in the independent short movie Svartmunkarnas Krönika – Codex Dei, working with famous swedish actors Per Ragnar and Kim Anderzon. Being a fan of Star Trek, Lillis is happy to have landed the role as the Android Commander Andrew in the Norwegian fan based Star Trek movie Gatekeeper.

When his is not acting or skateboarding he loves collecting miniature figures, board games and reading comics. This will be Lillis’s 6th time competing at the World Freestyle Round-Up. He says he loves coming here to meet his friends and to help promote freestyle skateboarding.
