I live in Sweden, “The land of IKEA,” but the only thing from IKEA in my home is four glasses, or rather I had four glasses as this cute blond girl just broke two of them while she was doing my dishes. I am hoping to continue my education in economics and entrepreneurship, but I am currently working at a night club and do some fashion modelling on the side. I also work as a social support worker at a home for refugees from Afghanistan and Syria. When I am not at work I run skateboarding schools for kids and collecting stuff especially coins and old Nintendo games.
I was thinking back to when I first got started in skateboarding 13 years ago, I had seen a few Rodney Mullen videos which perked my interest but had no idea as how to do any of his tricks. Then I came across some skateboard books from the late 80’s that had a section on freestyle showing how to do several of tricks, I started to try to do some of them and really got hooked. The three skaters who have influenced my freestyle carrier the most are Rodney, Guenter Mokulys, and Stefan Johansson, and of course I can’t forget my old Ikea travelling buddy, Lillis. I have taken what I have learned from them and I am passing it along by teaching kids how to freestyle. When I am not skateboarding I like to fool around on the piano just for fun, love to travel, workout at the gym, go to parties and meet as many of those lovely Swedish ladies as I can. I have been to every World Round-Up since it started in 2012 as well as four other world championships. This will be my third year as a pro, so I am really looking forward to coming to Vancouver to compete in this years contest as it just keeps getting bigger and bigger drawing freestylers from all over the world.
