I had always been enamoured with freestyle skateboarding even before I started skating or knew what it was called. I started skateboarding regularly about 13 years ago and soon there after I started to skate freestyle. Ever since then skateboarding has been a central part of my life. I attended the Loyola Marymount University in LA and was studying history but left before completing my degree to join the Military. I served in the United States Marine Corps for the last few years and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego California and deployed as part of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Besides skateboarding I enjoy woodworking, riding my unicycle, playing my bass guitar and strumming my ukulele. Now that I am out of the Military I look forward to skating more and becoming more involved with the ever growing freestyle community. Yoyo Schulz is probably the biggest single influence on my skating, but the videos made by Connor Burke make we want to get out and skate more than any other skater. I am really looking forward to meeting and skating with him at the Round-Up. Every time I have the chance to be around other freestyle skateboarders it is truly a treat and always turns out to be a memorable experience.
