Recently I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso and have an associate degree in teaching. I’m a Christian and love God and feel very fortunate to be able to work at the Westside Church Of Christ. I enjoy performing in shows and traveling because it is so much fun and gives me such an adrenaline rush. Funny thing is, I skate better in shows and demos than I do in contests most of the time. Freestyle skating seems to be the most mentally, emotionally and physically challenging style of skating and helped me cope with my depression and eating disorder. Freestyle allowed me to stay distracted from destructive thoughts and focus on being creative and productive.my best therapy method. Three things I really love to do besides skateboarding is to workout, crochet, and make skate videos.

I have been very lucky to have two great mentors in my life, Bill Robertson AKA Dr. Skateboard, and A.J. Kohn, who has taught me so much about freestyle and life in general. The past 7 years I have competed at the World Round-Up and made so many new friends. Looking forward to attending again this year and catching up with them all.
